Namaste Banepa
is an education project run by concerned parents, citizens
and educationalists. Targeting the most disadvantaged children,
Namaste Banepa aims at providing education for life.
• By providing access
to the government curriculum, in government schools, Namaste
Banepa gives it's children what they need most: the means
to obtain recognized Nepalese certified education, and to
attend local, easily accessible, schools with their peers.
• Namaste Banepa believes
in working within the current system, but encourages teachers
to actively participate in broadening their teaching skills
to the benefit of all their students.
• Namaste Banepa selects
children from under-privileged families and finances their
education. These families cannot afford to buy school materials
and pay school fees. Namaste Banepa gives them the opportunity
of a brighter future.
• It only costs GBP90
/ E115 / US$150 to fully sponsor a child between the ages
of 5 to 14 for one year. (See
