Cashmere striped scarf — Mixed colours

About this cashmere woven scarf

This scarf has a cool mint and cream base, noticeable especially along the top and bottom edges, crossed by fine stripes of pink, purple, yellow and a little orange. The mint gives it a fresher, cooler cast than most of the striped scarves. A multicoloured fringe finishes both ends. It suits navy, grey or white outfits and makes a light, bright scarf for spring and early autumn.

This is a thick, weighty scarf, hand-woven from 2ply cashmere, and warm in a single layer. Each one has its own stripes and mix of colours, so no two are the same. Wear it looped once under a winter coat or wrapped twice on the coldest days; it suits men and women equally. At 34 × 180 cm it is a full-length scarf, wide enough to keep its shape and long enough to wrap twice or hang open under a coat.

Pure cashmere, with no silk in the mix, is softer and warmer than the blend and lighter in the hand, and softens further with wear. Handmade in Nepal.
