About this cashmere frilled shawl
Bright and juicy, Harvest Pumpkin sits between tangerine and squash. It is fully saturated and medium in depth. Even on a dull day it stands out. The undertone is warm, pulling towards yellow. It is lively with navy, denim, chocolate brown and teal, and it brightens a grey coat. Cream and khaki calm it down. Wear it to Halloween parties, autumn fairs, sports days and sunny walks.
This shawl is knitted rather than woven, in half cashmere and half silk, with a frilled edge at each end. Being knitted, it has stretch and give, so it settles round the shoulders and stays there instead of sliding off. Wear it over a dress at a wedding or dinner, or round the shoulders at home. At 70 × 200 cm the stole is the most worn size: wide enough to wrap the shoulders over a dress, and easy to fold lengthways and wear as a generous scarf with a coat. It is the size most people choose for weddings and evenings.
Half cashmere and half silk gives a cloth that is soft and warm with a noticeable sheen, and cool enough to wear indoors and in milder weather. Handmade in Nepal.
