About this silk stole
A deep wine red with a dark berry richness, like a glass of claret held up to the light. Its undertone sits between warm and cool, leaning slightly towards purple. It adds depth to navy, charcoal, black and grey, and looks handsome over a camel coat or with dark denim. Cream and soft pink also suit it. Wear it for autumn and winter evenings, the theatre, dinners out and family gatherings.
A pure silk stole is cool and light against the skin, with a sheen that silk alone gives. It is for warm weather and indoor occasions: draped over bare shoulders at a summer wedding, or worn loosely round the neck with a linen jacket where cashmere would be too warm. At 60 × 190 cm it is a little narrower than a stole, so it wraps easily round the neck and still opens out across the shoulders when you want more cover.
Pure silk is smooth and cool against the skin, with a natural sheen, and it drapes in fluid folds. It adds colour without adding warmth. Handmade in Nepal.
Size and fabric
Pure silk, 210 count
210 count means that 210 metres of the yarn weigh one gram: for silk, the finest quality. It weaves into a light, floaty scarf that feels soft rather than scratchy. The tassels are hand twisted in the traditional way.

The silk scarf has a beautiful quality, not so shiny, yet silky smooth. The colour "rabbit" is an elegant grey with a hint of lavender. However I am a little disappointed with the colour "fig". On my computer it looks like deep blueish violet, but in reality it is a dark burgundy.
