Herringbone Weave Pashmina
Stole Size - 60x190cm (24 x 74 inches)
- This stole is long enough to be doubled up and pulled through the loop. This creates a smart appearance and also pushes oodles of cosy cashmere up to your ears! Especially as it is slightly thicker 3ply material.
- When you open up this stole and wrap it around your shoulders and body, it will keep you cosy from your neck to your waist.
- This is a versatile size and works well as a scarf or a shawl. It will serve you well. Have a browse through the photos to really see the size of this pashmina.
The Fabric - 3 PLY Herringbone Weave
- The herringbone weave is quite a tight weave, which means you have a dense, thicker feeling cashmere stole to wrap around you.
- The yarn itself is 3 ply, 28 count pure cashmere. 3 ply means that three threads are wound around each other before the item is woven, so it is a little more voluminous than the classic pashmina.
- The cashmere fibres themselves come from Inner Mongolia, the border region between China and Mongolia where the cashmere goats roam freely. The happier the goats, the better the yarn. The cashmere fibres in this shawl are long and just 14-16 microns in diameter. We regularly test random samples to ensure the quality stays consistently high.
- Many cashmere pashminas are sold with brushed fabric. This gives the fabric a thicker appearance, however lots of the fibres are broken and so the life of the item is shorter. This shawl is not brushed, so it is very durable and like a fine carpet it will appear to get better the more it is used.
Dye and Finishing
- This stole has an open fringe.
- Mypashmina only uses environmentally friendly AZO free Swiss dyes to give your pashmina it's colour.
- If the colour you want is not available in stock, please let us know what you were looking for. We always listen, and may add it to our range. We do not make usually this type of pashmina with our bespoke service unless more than ten pieces are required.
Shipping & Returns
- This pashmina stole is in stock in our warehouse near to Cambridge. Royal Mail come and collect Monday through Friday at about 1pm, so if you order in the morning, you can expect to receive your pashmina on the next working day. Special services are also available at the checkout.
- If for any reason you are not 100% happy and delighted, please return your pashmina for a full refund and tell us what you really wanted. We will do our best to accommodate you. We really, really want happy customers.
MADE WITH CARE
We have worked with the same team in Kathmandu (Nepal) since 2002, and your purchase helps provide decent long term jobs to more than 50 people.
The factory is located at the edge of Kathmandu in a village area which is gradually being overtaken by the city itself. It still retains it's village charm with some traditional style Nepalese houses.
A large part of the population in that area are Tibetan exiles, so they have bought their culture and personalities to the area as well.
Staff turnover is exceptionally low because it is a nice place to work.
We think your purchase of this pashmina stole has a positive impact on Nepal, but we want you to buy from us because you will love your new pashmina for its quality, colour and feel.
Also Suitable for Him
We think that this cashmere scarf would be very much appreciated by a man. Mens scarves usually have an open fringe rather than tassels. Men generally prefer pure cashmere over the cashmere and silk mix which has more of a sheen. This is a soft, practical and warm luxury scarf that will be treasured for many years.

Absolutely gorgeous… soft, thicker but easy to fold into a scarf length and so so cosy to wear. Very elegant. The quality is second to none and this is from somebody who has Loro Piana cashmere and a gifted Hermes cashmere scarf. When you look at the price of these brands compared to this one from My Pashmina and the quality, it is unbelievably good. The only problem you will have is wanting more!
really lovely scarf.
would be nice if it came with a little more gift wrapping or presentation, without it being an extra cost.
I love this scarf, it feels strong with tight weave but still light, lovely and soft. Very stylish also with open fringe finishing, I wish you’d make them in more colours or bespoke!
Looking for larger and non herring bone weave otherwise 5 stars
